Проект U_CAN − Towards Ukrainian Carbon Neutral Cities

Проект U_CAN − Towards Ukrainian Carbon Neutral Cities  (HORIZON-MISS-2023-CIT-02 – Associating Ukrainian cities to the limate-neutral and smart cities mission) спрямований на підтримку українських міст у розвитку кліматичної нейтральності. 
Партнерами проекту є місто Дрезден, європейські дослідницькі установи з технічними знаннями щодо конкретних проектів, організації з досвідом роботи в проектах з реконструкції України, стандартизації, громадянської науки та чистої енергії; та дев’ять партнерів із семи міст України: Києва, Львова, Житомира, Хмельницького, Івано Франківська, Вінниці, Харкова та Херсона.
Хмельницьким університетом управління та права імені Леоніда Юзькова заплановано проведення наукових заходів, тренінгів, воркшопів та інших активностей. 2 заходи проводитимуться спільно із Хмельницькою міською радою (кліматично нейтральні рішення та підхід пілотної діяльності будуть включені до Плану впровадження для Хмельницького).
Реалізація проекту сприятиме підготовці пропозицій та рекомендацій для органів публічної влади та суб’єктів господарювання з вироблення стійких рішень з нульовими викидами, пошуку шляхів скорочення викидів парникових газів у районах реконструкції за допомогою пілотного проекту, удосконалення публічної політики в контексті декарбонізації економіки, переходу на  «зелену» енергетику.

The kick-off meeting of the international grant project U_CAN Associating

On May 23-24, 2024, the kick-off meeting of the international grant project U_CAN Associating Ukrainian cities to the Climate-neutral and smart cities Mission (HORIZON-MISS-2023-CIT-02-01) was held in Dresden (Germany), in which Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytsky University of Management and Law is a participant. Representatives from the University were the head of the research department, professor of the department of public management and administration, adviser on gender equality Inna SHEVCHUK and specialist of the department for coordination of scientific activities, international cooperation and grant activities, senior lecturer of the department of theory and history of the state and law, head of the Council of Young scientists Anna DANILOVA. During the first day of the meeting, Inna SHEVCHUK presented the Leonid Yuzkov Khmelnytskyi University of Management and Law as a participant in the grant project, the team that will implement it, and presented a poster of the pilot activities of Khmelnytskyi and the University. During the second day, work continued in the format of 4 workshops, which were aimed at the prospects of implementing the grant, in particular, regarding conducting scientific events, attracting stakeholders, developing «green skills», developing the project platform, and establishing communication between consortium participants.
